Pauline Forde started her career as a florist, training at the Dessie Banks School of Floristry in Dublin at the age of 16. She worked in the flower industry for many years to follow and became renowned for her work both as an artist and florist. In the years that followed, Pauline experimented with many textures and forms and in 2008 put her creative energy into fashion design and set up her own business designing ladies handmade accessories such as bags, belts and hats and jewellery. As her work took off she spent the next few years working on private commissions and selling her pieces to many high end boutiques in Kildare.

In 2012 her insatiable passion to create, led her back to floral design. Culminating her skills and experience of working with fashion and flowers she set out to create the perfect alternative bouquet to fresh flowers.
In 2012 Heirloom Bridal bouquets was born.

Since Pauline set up the business in September 2011, she has featured in the national press and public eye. She has designed bridesmaids bouquets for Ireland AM star -Alan Hughes and TV presenter, Lisa Cannon. Pauline has featured on Irish TV shows such as; Ireland AM and Xpose.

“I met Pauline in January when I interviewed her for Xpose at the Wedding Journal Show in City West. I was immediately captivated by her beautiful designs and the whole idea of the bouquets been a keepsake to enjoy long after your wedding day. They are a beautiful alternative to fresh flowers and as an investment piece that can be passed down through the generations. Although I have no immediate plans to walk up the aisle myself, I fell in love with a particular bouquet and asked Pauline to design a similar one that I could use as a centrepiece in my home. I emailed her an image of my colour scheme and Pauline designed the perfect arrangement for me. Her designs are so elegant and classy and I just love the vintage pieces she incorporated into the bouquet design. I would highly recommend Pauline as she is very qualified in her field and has a fantastic eye for colour and design”.
